SUMAC provides consulting services for the LEED O+M certification of the Quito Metropolitan Convention Center, integrating sustainability criteria into operational management to ensure long-term environmental performance. The scope includes efficiency strategies, energy monitoring, and operations and maintenance optimization.

Currently in progress, the building located on Avenida Amazonas connects with Quito's active mobility network and Bicentennial Park, linking interior circulation, landscaping, and urban context. The project redefines the convention center as a resilient, high-environmental-performance public infrastructure.
