SUMAC conducted an energy audit for COPROTAB, a leading company in the collection, primary processing, and commercialization of Virginia tobacco in the province of Salta, with the goal of identifying savings opportunities and improving the plant's energy performance, prioritized according to cost-benefit ratio.

The analysis defined energy efficiency measures aimed at optimizing industrial operations, achieving up to 17% savings in energy consumption. SUMAC accompanied the technical process to strengthen the sustainability and competitiveness of the largest Salta-based company with local capital.
