SUMAC provided LEED consulting to the U.S. Army for renovations of Buildings 7416 and 7418 at Fort Carson, Colorado, including enhanced commissioning and energy modeling. The project includes administrative and preparatory modules, weapons vaults, classrooms, conference rooms, and mission planning areas.
The buildings feature fire detection and suppression systems, integrated energy management, communications networks, and lighting controls with daylighting. SUMAC supported the supervision of all utility installations and site improvements, including electricity, water, gas, drainage, landscaping, parking, and access, ensuring efficiency, functionality, and sustainability.
