SUMAC developed a preliminary energy model for Hotel Jo&Joe Medellin with the goal of optimizing the building's performance and accompanying its path toward LEED certification. The analysis identified energy efficiency, comfort, and operational improvement opportunities from early design stages.
The project includes a basement with technical and support areas, a ground floor with lobby, restaurant, bar, and services, and five levels with 11 rooms each. Together, Jo&Joe and SUMAC drive a hotel proposal responsible to its environment, aligned with high standards of sustainability and habitability.
