SUMAC participated as LEED advisor and also developed the Commissioning and Energy Modeling processes for the INNOVAMATER project, a building for administrative offices at the Universidad Católica de Oriente, seeking LEED New Construction certification.

Located in Rionegro, Antioquia, the building incorporates sustainability and efficiency strategies such as renewable energy, an LED lighting system, and water-saving plumbing fixtures. These solutions optimize energy performance and reduce resource consumption, aligning the project with high environmental standards.
