SUMAC provided sustainability consulting services for the Mibanco Chancay branch, located in Chancay, Peru, with the goal of optimizing the building's energy, water, and materials performance, and accompanying the client in obtaining EDGE Advanced certification.
The project, an existing 2-story + rooftop building, was improved through the implementation of notable sustainable strategies, including low-consumption faucets and plumbing fixtures, efficient lighting, and solar panels, achieving average savings of 73% in energy, 58% in water, and 97% in materials. This allowed avoiding 3.05 tons of CO₂ per year and annual savings of 44.79 m³ of water, strengthening the operational efficiency and sustainability of the asset.
