SUMAC provided sustainability consulting services for the Nomad Living Ricardo Palma project, located in Miraflores, Lima, Peru, with the goal of accompanying the obtainment of LEED Silver certification under the LEED BD+C v4 system.
The project is a mixed-use residential building intended for long-term rental, with 280 apartments, coworking areas, a cafeteria, and commercial spaces, as well as vehicle and bicycle parking. The consulting included the implementation of energy and water efficiency strategies, such as solar panels, a grey water treatment plant, water-saving faucets and fixtures, and native vegetation green terraces, achieving 23.1% energy savings and 40.5% water savings.
