SUMAC was responsible for the design and construction of St. John Commons, a mixed-use commercial project located at the Summer Winds, LLC shopping center in St. John, Indiana.

The development included two commercial buildings, parking spaces, and open areas prepared for future improvements, as well as two Live/Work concept buildings with offices and 5 condominiums per building. Between the buildings, a central area was designed with landscaping, pedestrian spaces, and a pond with fountain. Additionally, a bicycle path was incorporated that runs through the property from east to west, ending in a gazebo structure, integrating mobility and recreation into the project. SUMAC also provided planning and conceptual design for the shopping center, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability in every project detail.
