ENVISION is an international certification system developed by the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI) that evaluates, measures, and recognizes sustainable civil infrastructure projects. Unlike building certifications such as LEED, ENVISION focuses specifically on civil infrastructure: roads, bridges, water and energy networks, airports, ports, and other large-scale projects.
The certification evaluates projects across five categories: Quality of Life, Leadership, Resource Allocation, Natural World, and Climate and Risk. Each category includes specific credits that reflect the project's sustainable performance.
