The Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies (EDGE) certification, promoted by IFC (International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group), advances sustainable construction in emerging markets through the efficient use of energy, water, and materials. An EDGE-certified building guarantees significant savings in energy and water consumption, as well as a reduced carbon footprint throughout its lifecycle.
