SUMAC was the LEED certification consultant for this prime office building in Peru. Due to the material choices and the installation of highly efficient equipment. The building has emerged as an icon of energy efficiency as well as one with the most innovative and modern architecture designs in Lima.
SUMAC’s tasks for the project included energy modeling, fundamental and enhanced commissioning, as well as consulting during the design phase, and on the planning of measurement and verification plan (M&V), and supervision of work during the construction stage.
The building elected to implement landscaping that increased green areas, protecting the natural habitat and lowering electric consumption. In conjunction with the implementation of a wastewater treatment plant, the project reduces its use of potable water for irrigation by 100%.
