The Roosevelt School’s Elementary Building obtained the LEED Silver level certification. Among the most outstanding sustainable characteristics of the building, we can find natural ventilation that allows the circulation of hot air from each classroom’s windows through ducts located in the ceiling. The architecture makes it possible to take great advantage of the entrance of natural light. We installed High-efficiency VRF air conditioning equipment. Furthermore, the building achieves high energy savings in lighting thanks to the implementation of highly efficient luminaires. It also has a space for the segregation of waste (organic, glass, plastic, and paper or cardboard), promoting recycling and reutilization.
