Eco28 is located in Lima’s Miraflores district. This developed area is near local businesses and accessible public transportation. The building’s exterior finishes help to minimize the effect of heat. Due to the use of efficient taps and sanitary devices, 35% of water is consistently saved. 100% of Eco28’s green areas are xerophilic with a drip irrigation system. Besides, a wastewater treatment plant was built to supply irrigation and flushing toilets. This project contains a space to segregate waste during active operation, and it also counts with a construction waste management plan. Eco28’s mechanical ventilation was designed based on the ASHRAE 62.1 2010 standard, and 100% of the apartments have natural ventilation.
