The new offices of Oficinas Integrales obtained the EDGE Certification, becoming the first EDGE certified office in Peru. The offices are located in T Tower, a LEED certified building under SUMAC’s Sustainability and Energy Efficiency Consulting. Some of the sustainability strategies implemented were an efficient curtain wall and the materials chosen for construction. The most outstanding efficiency features include the installation of efficient air conditioning equipment, LED lighting, and water-efficient sanitary equipment. The choice of materials, such as floors, rugs and vinyl, were appropriate to achieve a 35% reduction of energy embedded in materials.
