SUMAC is the advisor for obtaining the LEED certification of the project, including energy modeling, fundamental commissioning, as well as advice on measurement and verification plan (M&V) planning and supervision during the construction stage for the Olguín Tower.
Developed by Tucan Investments and designed by DLP Arquitectos. The project is located Santiago de Surco district in Lima. It is an 18-story office building that opted to implement an efficient air conditioning system and a curtain wall, allowing less energy demand in the building.
The architecture is designed so that 90% of the regularly occupied areas of offices and commerce have an outward view and receive proper natural lighting. For the construction of the building, materials with recycled content have been selected (extracted and manufactured within the region). Likewise, the correct selection of paints, adhesives, sealants and coatings that do not contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs) makes the indoor air quality in the offices optimal.
