The private institute of technological education of the USIL is a new building of the educational network of the San Ignacio de Loyola University (USIL). The aim was to achieve significant energy savings in the installed equipment and in the lighting system. The building contains mainly classrooms and some administrative offices, although its main use is oriented to education as part of the studies prior to the design of the building, the sunlight was analyzed in facades and the protection alternatives, as a result, the building achieved an important saving in energy consumption.
SUMAC was the advisor for obtaining the LEED certification. The stages of the work were divided into design and construction, including energy modeling, fundamental commissioning during the construction stage.
