VERT 79 is a project that was conceived from the beginning as an environmentally friendly construction. It is located in Antioquia, Colombia in an area of high commercial development and access to public transportation. With SUMAC as their Sustainability and Energy Efficiency Consultant, the building obtained the LEED Gold Certification. It implemented sustainability strategies, such as energy self-sufficiency through solar energy production and rainwater harvesting. The project has a vertical garden and a terrace with amenities, such as a jacuzzi and a solarium.
