SUMAC was the advisor for obtaining the LEED Certification. The stages of the work are divided into design and construction, including energy modeling and fundamental commissioning during the construction stages.
The Torre del Arte office building is a project developed by the real estate company Urbanova in the district of San Borja. This building received the height bonus granted by the municipality for buildings that opt for LEED certification, obtaining a permit to increase the height of the building from 8 to 12 floors. The project is located in a commercial area with multiple services and transport routes in the surrounding area. As part of the municipality’s requirements to obtain the height bonus, the project incorporated a lot of infrastructure to encourage the use of bicycles, which will benefit from the cycle path network available in the district.
