SUMAC was in charge of the Owner’s Representation, Project Management, Design and Construction for the City Ticket Office, the office in charge and the Corporate Offices of United Airlines in Chile. SUMAC assisted in the analysis of potential rental locations in the Santiago business center, including testing of required space, construction costs, and design concepts. Once the client chose its final location, SUMAC hired local consultants to complete the corresponding design documents and permits, obtain these permits, and build the project until the key was delivered to the client. Due to the scheduled reopening of flights to Santiago, the project had a tight and fixed delivery date to ensure that operations were up and running prior to the arrival of flights.
SUMAC provided owner representation, architecture and construction management for the new United Airlines city ticket office in Argentina. SUMAC assisted with the review of potential sites for leasing in the central business district of Buenos Aires, including the provision of trial adjustments for spatial requirements, construction costs, and design concepts. Once United chose its final location, SUMAC hired local consultants to complete design and permitting documents, obtain permits, and interview potential contractors. During construction, SUMAC supervised the general contractor and advised on questions or schedules and prices.
