Diversity is our present
Sustainability is our future

With sustainability as our core value, our team crafts, shapes, executes, and builds impactful work to create a better tomorrow.

Our experience and resilience have given us the tools to continue bringing on talented individuals regardless of gender, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.

We are focused on our tasks at hand, and we will ensure to get results for you, our client.

This is why our performance not only delivers quality results to our clients, but also environmentally sustainable projects. We firmly believe that every person deserves to be treated with respect.

Diversity

Nevertheless, today we see the impacts of environmental injustice. Based on the 2019 Global Status Report for Buildings and Construction put forward by the United Nations Environment Programme, the building and construction sector is responsible “for 36% of final energy use, and 39% of energy and process-related (CO2) emissions in 2018” (2019). This is why we continue to be a leading organization that implements sustainable architecture.

Through our services, from owner’s representation to third-party certifications process, we ensure to provide practices that are both inclusive and sustainable.

Yes, we are proud of our work, but we are much more realistic than that and recognize that we have not done nearly enough.

As an industry leader, we believe we have a responsibility to spearhead positive change, introduce best practice throughout our global networks and help lead our industry towards A new way.

SUMAC is a Minority-Owned Business (MBE/DBE) certified through local and national agencies.

Our status can help you fulfill diversity requirements with private and public agencies around the United States.
