We were the sustainability and energy efficiency consultant for the Cedro Rosado Building at the Pontificia Javeriana University located in Cali, Colombia. The 7-story facility is home to classrooms and auditoriums for the university students and staff.
Cedro Rosado obtained the Gold Level v4 LEED certification for New Construction through sustainable practices, including solar panels, LED lighting and automation, efficient plumbing devices, the protection of nearby green areas, and a bioclimatic protection design that enhances the comfort of the building occupants. Our team was in charge of the Energy Modeling and Fundamental and Improved Commissioning processes to boost energy savings throughout all project phases.
