SUMAC provides Architecture, Design and acts as a developer for a new urban infill apartment project in St. Charles, Illinois, a suburb of western Chicago. The apartments consist of two independent buildings designed to complement the traditional architecture of the historic center of St. Charles. In total, both buildings contain 160 units in a combination of studio, one-room and two-room designs.
Provided parking in the basement and commercial spaces on the first floor along First Street. The roof provides a community space for the project with active areas and large gardens for residents to use.
