SUMAC was the advisor for obtaining the LEED certification of the project, including ASHRAE level II energy audit, Retro Commissioning and supervision during the implementation stage.Paseo Shopping Babahoyo was developed by the largest retail company in Ecuador “Corporación El Rosado”. The project is located in the city of Babahoyo.The project was designed as a closed shopping center, which has two entrances to the general public, a parking area, general stores, hypermarket, cinemas and food court. It has bicycle parking, large green areas, sustainable waste management policy. 73% of the users use alternative transport, 58% of the floor is rigid, helping to reduce the heat island effect and it is a construction with 100% smoke-free spaces.
